When my friend Amanda invited me to accompany her to Edgy Veggie in November last year, I declined mainly because I’ve already been there a few times before (and wasn’t keen on braving the weekend traffic). But the schedule was changed to a less hectic travel time and I thought, why not? I love the food there anyway, although I wasn’t sure I could write anything new about it.
Turns out there are lots of new things going on here! The Edgy Veggy restaurant has been rebranded into The Good Seed. The place now has an airier, minimalist aesthetic that is sure to attract a younger crowd as well as with Titas like me. It can also be used as a venue for workshops, small gigs, wine tasting, book club readings, and various other functions.
The food is honest vegan and vegetarian fare. It’s the kind of place where you can trust that your veggies were sourced locally and are mostly organic. Denise Caldran was kind enough to tell us more about the dishes and regale us with tidbits about the ’90’s, her KonMari journey and insights about her Thrive nutrition program.
Here’s what we had.
The Good Seed by Edgy Veggy is located at the Ground Floor #3 Brixton St., Kapitolyo Pasig.
